I get asked this a lot, so here's a quick 1-2-3 on sending in a repair, and what to include and expect.

How To Send in a Repair

1.    Package up your pipe(s) and send them via the courier of your choice to the following address:

        Stem & Briar LLC
        c/o James Connelly
        9211 S. Nicholson Rd.
        Oak  Creek, Wisconsin

So that I can properly identify one package from the next, please include a note along with your pipe(s) containing:

        a.  Your Name
        b.  Your E-mail (if available).  If you do not have an e-mail, than please add some detail on the repair(s) you would like done.
 Your Phone Number

2.    Just to give a heads up that I  should be on the lookout for a package.
Also, include the requests for the repair work to be done.
It's easiest for me to pull up your email before starting work and ask question if I have any,
but I'm happy to call and discuss too if that's easier.

 3.   Once repairs are completed, I will send and email off with the invoice and get your pipe(s) back!
If  any questions come up during repair, I will make sure to contact you before proceeding.

That's it!  any
questions?   Send me an E-mail, or give a call at 414-949-PIPE (7473)

About Repairs

Each pipe requires a different level of care and service depending on the repair needed.
Therefor the prices shown are listed as a guideline only.

Before any work is started, the actual quote of work will be communicated.

For an estimate, looks here: Pipe Repairs Price Guide

As with the repairs I do on estate pipes I sell, I take the utmost care in rejuvenating and restoring your pipe back to as close to original condition as possible.  Sometimes however defects in a pipe only appear during the restoration process.

Due to this, combined with the sensitive nature of pipe materials, all responsibility is with the owner for any damage done to a pipe during the repair process.  In the event that any undisclosed breakage or cracks are discovered, the repair will be stopped and the owner contacted on how to proceed with the requested repairs.

All pipes mailed back to you will include insurance.  It is strongly recommended that when mailing a pipe for repair or rejuvenation that insurance coverage is purchased for your courier of choice.  Stem and Briar LLC. will not be held responsible for any lost package or damage to any contents by the shipping company coming to or returning from my shop.

For estimation purposes a USPS Small Flat rate box is approximately $7.50 insured within the United States, and $16.95 Internationally.  On average, this sized box can hold up to 3 pipes depending on their size and shape.

Stem and Briar LLC is does not have a traditional storefront, and nearly all our business is conducted online and via mail shipments. I would however be happy to assist you locally by appointment both for purchasing pipes, or pipe repairs.

Thank-you for your interest!
